My little abby gets extremely jealous when I am on the computer way too much. Usually a sign that I need to get away is when she jumps on my lap then nibbles on my arms while I type.

Abby was 1 year as of 6/26/08. She has only had her hair cut once since we got her last year from the puppy mill. Only cause I know how she gets so nervous; so I’ve not had her done every 6-8 weeks like we did with our westie. But tomorrow she goes to get fixed and get a lump off her back leg removed. So I wanted her to be nice and clean for it. We really didn’t want to get her fixed and maybe have a litter or two. After watching so many puppy mills in the news lately I really don’t want to be a cause of more puppies ending up in places like that. Plus I wish she would live forever. Her personality has really blossomed. She’s awesome with my grandchildren. Most Miniature Schnauzers can be nippy but she has nipped not one person and she’s acclimated herself to the boys very well.

After seeing Slick’s blog and the nice update he did, I’m rather jealous!  So while I’m drooling at his redesign, I think I need to think up my own.

He says he’s found morals & values … uhm sorry but it’s not environmentally possible.  I believe they just said on the news that Morals & Values have been recalled.  Slick you might wanna check that out … could be dangerous!

This is the week my life went to hell in a hand basket about 9 years ago when my mother passed away. I hate this week. Tomorrow is St. Nick and I cleaned all day to get ready to put my tree up. Did I? nope! Just can’t get into the mood. Maybe next week, I just hate this week too much.

Today, I just put my mind to cleaning my living room. Deep clean it I should say. See we heat our 6 bedroom house with only a wood stove. It takes a bit of trickiness to keep it warm but eh I save $600 a propane fill by heating it this way. And I refuse to donate to Bush’s retirement by buying anything oil related. My wood stove does just fine.

Sunday, hubby goes out to feed our rabbits and well one of our first rabbits died. Tulip froze to death! How I have absolutely no idea, they are quite protected but obviously not enough or she was possibly sick.

Saturday night we got hit with about 10 inches of snow in a matter of a few hours. I knew then my week was going to royally suck as I was about 20 miles from home and it was blizzard conditions when I decided to return home. We had a xmas party to attend and went in with a dusting of snow on the ground and exited with about 8 inches.

My husband bitched the whole way home. “you can’t make it through that” sure I can … WATCH. “You can’t go this way” sure I can … watch! Little Mr. Know It All hubby didn’t have to get out once to push or say “I told you so”, his little ass stayed nice and warm. Serves him right for telling me how to drive. Blizzard or not, nothing was stopping me from getting the hell out of the snobville xmas party we were at. I’d have ran over the pope just to get out of there.

Then this morning my lovely daughter took my two sons to school, did three 360’s with our van and came all of about 18 inches from taking out a $2000 telephone pole. Yes she ditched it!!! Then calls her soon to be ex husband (yes EX!!) to get her out, cause I was not about to go out to get her. He gets her she comes home then off she goes to have surgery on her foot, returns sits on couch, bitches how her foot hurts and tries to use her cell and that too took it’s last breathe. Yes she too is having a horrible day.

Abby went to get her first haircut since we got her. She’s SO adorable now. Tomorrow hopefully I can get a picture or two of her.

I was so paranoid all day that she’d come back totally horrified by the fact she had to be in a kennel all day long. Going from one hand to another she didn’t know. David the guy that has always taken care of my Cassie, took real good care of Abby today. We had her totally cut short. Not like most schnauzers where they cut the eyebrows so evil’ish.

Guess this is normal for [tag]puppies[/tag] from [tag]puppy mills[/tag]. But that’s ok I’d rather have spent the $500 on getting her OUT of that place then know in the cold weather coming, she’d be stuck in a wire cage at below zero temperatures.

So today she got her last set of [tag]shots[/tag] till next year. Plus an added broad spectrum de-worming pill and a weeks worth of antibiotic. Yes for a whopping $97.00. Now you know why “I” don’t go to the Dr often!

Then lets add another $70 to that already spent I don’t have money fund. For three [tag]winter[/tag] [tag]jackets[/tag], laundry detergent and bleach. Where do I get to buy something for myself.

nawww not really but it’s ok I’m tired too!

I’m thinking of getting a new puppy. Its so hard not having a small dog around. My big dogs sure are big babies but it’s not like you can get them to sit on your lap or cuddle with you. Without being crushed! So I’m not sure if I’m going to get a miniature schnauzer, shitzu or another westie. I’m debating.
