I’m sick of food in general.  Now the holiday’s are here and I’m still not looking forward to any social events that include food.

Every week, seems to be the same thing, over and over again like a wart that won’t go away.

I’m making a goal between now and the end of the year to get some versatility in the foods I prepare.  Starting with new recipes like these mini taco bowls or this four layer pumpkin cake.  Both of those make me want to run to the grocery store … like now!

I must behave I must behave.  Make a plan and stick to it.  Yes that’s it!

With the way our economy is going companies are pulling back on traditional marketing and increasing the digital marketing they do like social networks.

This is good for me because I work for a company that is the leader in this industry!

Here’s the leader’s little comments about my team

Team Fenix To be honest, this team shouldn’t even be contending for a playoff spot, but you’ve got to give them credit for hanging around and they just might slip into the playoffs the final week of the season.

The Fenix lineup isn’t all that imposing, but Randy Moss, Greg Jennings and Brett Farve just might get them to the promised land. The Fenix is one of the lowest-scoring teams in the league, but they manage to win when they need to, and should win at least two out of their last four games.

If the Fenix can somehow manage an improbable win against the Damaged Denial or The Flood, they might sneak by the Dreaded Mercenaries in week 13 when they face the hapless Altoids.

Seeing as it’s an improbable win, I think I’m doing not so bad!

Ofcourse for this coming week, I’m in need of mixing it up a bit.  Julius Jones just hasn’t stepped up so he’s going to be benched.  I think I may just end the season nicely.  Not going to complain seeing as it is my first year of playing Fantasy Football!

My grandchildren are now 3 years, 1 year and my precious newborn.  It’s time for me to start some traditions.

I’m thinking of one thanks to FussyPants who posted about her Build-A-Bear Moose for her son.  I just love the Moose it is so adorable.  Then there is the Christmas Penguin, he’s darn cute too.  And since I work with Yonni my 3 year old grandson on exotic animals and making sure he knows them like he knows regular farm animals, I think I may get him the Zebra.

Thanks FussyPants for the reminder about Build-A-Bear, being out here in the hicks I always forget what I’m missing in the city for shopping.  Thank gosh for the net!

Apple Pizza

I spread the dough on the pizza pan then cut all the apples with the peels.  We get what they call “deer apples” up here.  Basically, it’s apples that are slightly bruised from falling from the tree.  $5 a bag for 50lbs.  Not going to complain for a bruise or two!

Anyways, I chopped up all the apples spread them out on the dough.  Then I took 3/4 cup flour, 3/4 cup sugar, 3/4 cup butter (partially melted) and mixed it up good with a fork.  Then spread that ontop of the apples.  Baked on 350 degrees like I would a normal pizza till the crust was done.

Let’s just say, YUMMMMMMMMmmMmMMmMmMmYYYYYY!!!
