Jonathan’s 3rd birthday was yesterday.  I got him his cake and couple of toys to open.  Boys got him some hot wheel cars which he goes balistic for.  Ignore his issue with his ear and his hat.  Mama acting goofy with Jonathan just before taking a pic and didn’t fix it. LOL

It's my 3rd birthday!

Whatever anyone tells you it’s a lie. My birthday is tomorrow and there is a law here that says I am still 29. My birthday stopped years ago. I’m totally still a kid at heart. If it wasn’t for hubby quitting drinking I’d definately go on a binder tomorrow … and hell it’s Friday … couldn’t get better! Ok actually it could if I hit double bubble at Van’s about midnight tonight

But I won’t … I will behave. I’m an adult now … I’ll be 37 tomorrow … grandmother to two and in November three. I’m a mom, I’m married for 11 years as of October 18th. Dang time flies! I remember running away from my parents home and wishing I could be old. Now I’m wishing I could be young.

I did give myself one birthday present. I’ve cut back my pepsi and have been walking to my daughters home on the other side of the land atleast 3 times a day. This has benefited me greatly. My legs feel better (suffer from RLS) and I’ve gone from a size 14 tight pant to a size 10 and they are baggy. Not bad if you ask me! I stand 5′9 so a size 10 pant isn’t so hellish. Now if I could just squeeze myself down to a size 6, I’d be back to normal and happy with my weight. No I wouldn’t look like a stick either. I have long legs and my weight has settled in my lower tummy, thighs and ass. Hubby says ass is fine keep it there … oh and my boobs! He’s not bitching about those either! Men! Shut up Slick, I just know your itching to make a boob or ass comment!!!

On another note, hubby got a whole solid cherry bedroom set for doing some carpentry work for a friend who just sold his house in Florida and finally moved his belongings up here. Its GORGEOUS. He showed up here with it two nights ago and basically said “Happy Birthday”. haha I’m quite sure this was his easy way out of going shopping. I’m not bitching really, it’s the first time I’ve had one entire room all the same wood and matching furniture. Furniture never was really a priority. So I have my special room that now I can get sassy in

On my way to Green Bay this morning! Joy oh joy!

I hate driving seriously I do. It’s 50 miles from me to Green Bay. It’s one lane to and from. Not a pretty or joyous ride at all! I seriously hate driving there. Dad is up and has a grocery list for Menards to go get.

While I’m down there I will pickup the last bits of Jordan’s birthday presents. It’s his 11th birthday today! Before I even got the chance to say “Happy Birthday” he’s like Mom you didn’t forget what today is? I’m like no Jordan how can I? It was one of the most painful days in history! He just blank faced looked at me! heh! Mom’s terrible I know!

I will probably stop at Best Buy or Walmart down there. He wants a MP3 player just like Jr got last week. It really is not much fun shopping for those two. If one wants something the other does. So basically everything Jr got last week Jordan is getting this week. Makes shopping easy, just not so much fun. Hopefully when they get a bit older they’ll start separating a bit. They are a year and 7 days apart but you’d swear they were twins.
